SCSA Fishing Derby and Picnic

The SCSA Fishing Derby and Family Picnic are a tradition that goes back decades. Held in June, at Ridge Rd. Before or on Fathers day (exact day to be announced) features a kids fishing derby of our pond stocked with catfish and trout.  Many prizes and games for all.  Bring your family, friends, and neighbors, along with a picnic lunch.  This event is open to the public.

Pop, water, and treats will be distributed.

Picnic prize tickets will be available on the day of the picnic only.

Fishing derby starting time is 1:00 p.m.  Bring your own fishing tackle and bait!!!  No minnows permitted!!!  This derby is for youth only, 15 years of age and younger.  No fishing will be permitted before this time!!!  “No Fishing” signs will be posted!

Events schedule:     Fishing Derby            1:00 – 3:00 p.m.

                                Games                       4:00 p.m.

                                Prize Drawings           5:00 p.m.

Fishing Derby is free, and open to the public, no registration.

No fishing permitted before 1:00 p.m.

Gates open at 9:00 a.m. for picnic.
